Oura: Women Are More Than 1.25 Times More Stressed Than Men — Why?
In 2023, Oura, which has developed a wearable device measuring an array of biometrics, launched the Daytime Stress Feature. This is a framework that uses sensors on the device to measure daytime heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate, temperature trends, and accelerometer data and associate measurements with stress levels.
Recently, Oura released data collected from more than 45,000 members indicating that women experience more than 1.25 times more minutes of stress per day than men — with average daily stressed minutes of 109 for women and 84 for men.
